Our spiral notebooks are 6" x 8" in size and include 120 pages which are lined on both sides. The artwork is printed on the front cover which is made of thick paper stock, and the back cover is medium gray in color. The inside of the back cover includes a pocket for storing extra paper and pens.

It was a painting about a narrow space in a canyon I visited, but then the painting process drove me in the direction of breaking it up into individual smaller spaces. I like to play with the illusion of space and passages while playing with color theory and texture.
Influenced by nature, Catherine Gruetzke-Blais works in a variety of paint media and collage. Her focus is on color, rhythm, and texture while trying to bring her compositions to a feeling of unity. She completed MAT and BFA degrees from Tufts University and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts. A fine artist and art educator, Cathy has also worked as a scenic artist painting large scale scenery; and as an illustrator, illustrating board games. Additionally, she enjoys textile design, as well as designing and painting public art projects. In 2012, she was selected to paint and collage her design onto one of the large fiberglass rabbits for the Dedham, MA Public Art Project.
